What to Expect

Saturday evening you will find:

A smaller worshiping community. Due to family and work schedules, not everyone can worship on Sunday mornings. This evening worship service provides another opportunity for your worship life.  Our bulletins not only give the order of worship, but also include a calendar for the week and Mission Opportunities.

Sunday morning is filled with all ages:

Greeters to welcome you with a handshake and smile. Stop by the Welcome Center. It is staffed with people who know the ministries and programs of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer (LCOOR).Our bulletins not only give the order of worship, but also include a calendar for the week and Mission Opportunities. We serve Bunkhouse brew coffee, especially roasted for Joy Ranch near Watertown in the Fellowship Hall. Fellowship Hour happens between the Sunday worship services and offer a time for coffee and conversation.

Wednesday evening explodes with energy:

Beginning with a light meal for the whole family, church school follows.  Click here for the complete schedule for youth and adults.

This 1/2 hour worship service (6:30 – 7pm) is to provide a spiritual booster for the middle of the week.  Wednesday service is entirely different from the weekend worship services.  What a great way to add to an evening of Christian education and fellowship.

For families with children:

Families are encouraged to worship together.Three Sundays a month, children ages 3 – grade 2 are invited to the Chapel during the Sermon time for Children’s Church. The last Sunday of the month, children are invited forward in church for a Children’s Sermon just for them.  The noise of children in worship is welcome. Activity bags for children, with coloring sheets, crayons and books, are available for your use during worship. The Nursery is staffed and available, if needed.

Our building is handicap accessible. We recommend the South Entrance, as it is closest to the sanctuary.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 605-886-2696.

We invite you to join us in worship!
